Vision Plus Symposia
To provide a forum for discussion and the exchange of experience IIID organizes
"Vision Plus", an annual international and interdisciplinary symposium under the
patronage of UNESCO. The Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Transport acts
as a co-organizer since 1996. Until 1998 IIID enjoyed the partnership of the Fachhochschul-Studiengänge
Vorarlberg.
Since 1996 IIID has staged eleven interdisciplinary, international symposia "Vision Plus", some of them in cooperation with "Fachhochschul-Studiengänge Vorarlberg", with the "School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University, USA", with the "Vision Plus 7 Organizing Committee at Tama Art University, Tokyo", with the "Fachhochschul-Studiengänge der Wiener Wirtschaft and "Werbe Akademie WIFI Wien".
All Austrian Symposia have been supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology as a co-organizer. Vision Plus 10 has also enjoyed the special support of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economy and Labour, the Government of the Province of Vorarlberg, the Community of Lech and Zürs Tourismus GmbH.
